UPCOMING GIGS:
So we all know what you are thinking. Where the hell have The Fugitives been? Have no fear, we are still here. After a really busy summer, fall and winter, we all decided to take a break and get the juices flowing again and learn some new material and that's where we've been. We went back into the Barn and haven't come out since. We have been huddling trying to stay warm with only our guitars, drums, keyboard and Jaegermeister to keep us company. If it wasn't for the Jaegermeister, it could have gotten ugly.
Anyhow, we are getting in gear for the spring which will eventually come, I promise.
Our good friend George Hyde has decided to drop out of the line up due to scheduling with the other bands he has been playing with and we will miss him greatly.
We had a great turn out for Paul Ciaburri's benefit at the Orange Ale House and thanks everyone for coming out. It is always a wonder of how many people one person's life can touch. Everyone had a great time and everyone misses Pauli and will carry on his memory through our new friends and of course, the music.
ALERT: FRIDAY, APRIL 10TH AT TYME'S CAFE FORMERLY COLONIAL TYMES, DIXWELL AVENUE, HAMDEN. STARTING EARLY AT 8PM UNTIL 11:30PM.
APRIL 11TH, THE FUGITIVES ESCAPE TO BIX'S CAFE AT 246 MAIN STREET, BRANFORD, CT. THIS IS A NEW GIG FOR US AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL OUR WONDERFUL FANS COME DOWN FOR THIS ONE.
MAY 8TH, THE BAND IS BACK AT THE MOST AWESOME JAKE'S TAVERN IN WALLINGFORD. WE PLAYED HERE LAST ON THANKSGIVING EVE AND THE PLACE WAS ROCKING. JUST A GREAT ROOM, GREAT FOOD AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE. IT SHOULD BE A NICE, WARM SPRING NIGHT, JUST THE KIND OF NIGHT TO ROCK OUT WITH THE FUGITIVES. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.
Hello out there in Internet World. This is THE FUGITIVES BAND welcoming you to our website. Pretty fancy, huh? We will attempt to keep you updated on all our upcoming shows and news about the band as well as providing you with some samples of our music (both covers and originals).
Winter sucks and spring will be here sooner than you think. THE FUGITIVES are on the run again. Our schedule is filling up fast, so if you're thinking of planning a party, wedding, (even a divorce party) and need a band, give us a call or e-mail us at TheFugitivesBand@snet.net .
RECENT GIGS:
THE FUGITIVES played our second annual Woodmont Day Festival in Milford this past summer, and everyone had a really good time. We had great weather, and everyone was dancing in the streets. If the guy who took all the pictures of us is out there, please get in contact with us. The residents of Woodmont really know how to throw a party! Check out some of our photos from last year's event in the Band Photos pages.
THE FUGITIVES played Kim and Jim Stewart's wedding last Sept. 23, and it's time to wish them a HAPPY ONE YEAR . What a blast at the Lily Lake Inn. Everyone had a great time! Good luck, guys, and have fun in Newport.
THINKING OF GETTING MARRIED? DON'T DO IT!! But if you decide to go against our sound advice and need a great party band, just give us a call!
THE FUGITIVES have finally finished our NEW DEMO at our New Red Barn Recording Studio. We will now move upward to record some originals and become famous and rich before you know it. So if you are a record executive looking for some new talent to make you rich and famous, let's all get rich and famous together.
THE FUGITIVES got back from The Catskills, where we played our second Elka Club end-of-summer bash. They have a beautiful place up in the mountains, and these people know how to party! We saw you ladies dancing on the bar and the end of the night, and how many of you ended up in the pool? The boys were able to unwind and get some fresh air, and then get messed up on lots of Jaegermeister.
OUR WINTER AND SPRING SCHEDULE IS FILLING UP FAST (especially since almost everyone in the band has a side project or two going on at the same time). We are currently booking gigs, so if you're planning that awesome party or wedding soon, keep us in mind, and we'll be happy to get you booked with us.
SEE YOU ALL SOON!
Please check out the rest of new website and let us know what you like and what you would like to see.
